What is life all about?
I don't know. No body could know, has known or ever will. It's like a stream that runs its course and ends up in something vast and becomes a part of it. Or like a tree that grows, gives fruit to others and eventually falls due to the age it's at or some other natural or unnatural reason.
What I am trying to say is that its period of your existence, and what you do during it and what you make of it.
I read in a book(and also from a lot of people) that life is about karma. Doing that you are doing will eventually take you to what you really were supposed to be. I am really saddened by Steve Job's death today, and I remember the great man that he was. His speech at the 2005 Stanford commencement ceremony had really inspired me.
In short its connecting the dots, but you always do it looking back, right now you do not know where the dots might take you. And we as humans have been gifted with a wonderful thing called brain, which has the potential to do stuff that can only be imagined, and yet explain it to other people waste the effort in trying to make what their life is, what are they doing and what they are supposed to be.
You know, if you will look around your self, which means you have a computer, or a cell phone which can access the internet and read rich media you are not that bad. There are people who would not even know that such a blog even exists.
So be happy with what you have. Rather the correct word is be content with what you have right now. Like the river example, if it tries to cut through a cliff of run a shorter bend, its still not sure where it might be going, can become a waterfall for all you know.
To sum it up life is much simpler than banging your head over what is and what will be, just relax, just keep doing what you are. If you don't like it then do something that you actually like and then keep doing that, without worrying about the life ahead and the designs that it might have for you.
What ever it might be will connect the dots.
